Scheduling
Change many shifts at once
Bulk Edit is a separate screen for acting on a batch of shifts: move them, switch the worker, change the service, complete them, cancel them or delete them. It is how a week is repaired after somebody resigns or a participant goes into hospital.
Step by step
- 1
Click Bulk Edit above the board. The board is replaced by the bulk screen; Back to Board returns you.

- 2
Narrow the list with the client dropdown — All clients, or one participant.

- 3
Tick the shifts you want to act on.
- 4
Click Change Time to move them all to different hours, or Change Day to move them to another date.

- 5
Click Switch Worker to hand the whole batch to somebody else — the usual fix when a worker leaves at short notice.

- 6
Click Change Service Type to correct the service on all of them at once, which also corrects what they bill at.

- 7
Click Complete to mark finished shifts as done, or Recalc to recalculate pay and charges after a rate change.

- 8
Click Unlock if a shift is locked by an approved timesheet and genuinely needs editing.

- 9
Click Cancel Shift to cancel the batch — you are still asked for a policy and a reason.

- 10
Click Delete to remove the batch entirely. There is no undo, so use it for mistakes rather than for shifts that did not go ahead.
