    Questions people ask

What replaced the NDIS Price Guide?

The NDIS Price Guide became the Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and from 2026-27 the maximum amounts are set in the NDIS Pricing Schedule, made under the NDIS Act. The NDIA also publishes the Support Catalogue, a spreadsheet of every support item. This tool reads the Support Catalogue 2026-27 and checks its prices against the Pricing Schedule.

When do the 2026-27 NDIS prices apply?

The 2026-27 support items start on 1 July 2026. The NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 that sets the maximum amounts in law took effect on 24 September 2026.

What does a support item number mean?

An item number such as 01_011_0107_1_1 identifies one support at one time of day. The first part is the support category, the middle part identifies the support, the next four digits are the registration group, and the last digits mark the purpose and version.

    What is a quotable support?

A quotable support has no price limit in the Pricing Schedule. The provider and participant agree a price, usually through a quote approved by the NDIA, and that is what is claimed.

    What are legacy support items?

Legacy items are older items still listed so that supports delivered before a change can be claimed. Most have an end date. Use the current items for new supports.
