How to read the history
Each figure is the national (non-remote) price limit at 1 July of the financial year, taken from the NDIA’s Support Catalogue for that year. A price limit is the most a provider can charge for the support, not what every provider charges. Remote and very remote limits are not shown here.
Mid-year changes
Limits normally change once a year, on 1 July. Three changes for the supports tracked here landed mid-year: the COVID-19 10% loading (25 March to 30 June 2020), the Equal Remuneration Order increase (1 December 2020) and the temporary COVID increase (1 January to 30 June 2022). The chart draws them as steps, and the table marks them with a letter.
Same support, new name or number
- Occupational therapists claimed the general “Other Therapy” item until 30 June 2022, then their own item.
- Self-care weekday night (01_002) was called “Active Overnight” in 2019-20. The item number did not change.
- The plan management set-up fee is not in the price limits from 1 July 2025.

Questions people ask
How much have NDIS price limits risen since 2019-20?
Assistance with self-care on a weekday daytime (01_011_0107_1_1) had a national price limit of $52.85 an hour in 2019-20 and $73.58 in 2026-27, a rise of 39.2%. The Sunday limit went from $94.52 to $133.50 (41.2%). Not every support moved: support coordination and the plan management monthly fee have not changed since 1 July 2020.
Why was the 2020-21 price lower than the price in June 2020?
From 25 March to 30 June 2020 many price limits carried a temporary 10% COVID-19 loading (Price Guide 2019-20 v2.2). Self-care on a weekday daytime was $58.14 an hour while it applied. The loading ended on 30 June 2020, so the 2020-21 limit of $54.30 was lower than the loaded price, but still above the $52.85 limit at 1 July 2019. Support coordination and plan management did not get the loading.
Has the support coordination price changed?
Not since 1 July 2020. Support Coordination Level 2 (07_002_0106_8_3) has been $100.14 an hour, and Specialist Support Coordination Level 3 (07_004_0132_8_3) $190.54 an hour, in every Support Catalogue from 2020-21 to 2026-27. In 2019-20 they were $98.06 and $186.58.
Is there still a plan management set-up fee?
No. The set-up fee (14_033_0127_8_3) was $232.35 in the 2024-25 Support Catalogue. It is not in the 2025-26 Support Catalogue, and the 2025-26 Pricing Arrangements list only the Plan Management Monthly Fee, so there has been no set-up fee in the price limits from 1 July 2025. The monthly fee (14_034_0127_8_3) is $104.45, unchanged since 2020-21.
Why does physiotherapy show two prices before 2025-26?
From 2019-20 to 2024-25 the Support Catalogue had no single national limit for physiotherapy (15_055_0128_1_3). It was $193.99 an hour in the ACT, NSW, Queensland and Victoria, and $224.62 in the NT, SA, Tasmania and WA. From 1 July 2025 there is one national limit of $183.99.
Are the 2026-27 prices in force?
Yes. The 2026-27 figures are in force under the NDIS (Pricing Arrangements) Determination 2026. The NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 took effect on 24 September 2026, and the support items in the 2026-27 Support Catalogue apply from 1 July 2026.
