How this schedule works
- Prices are per unit. For NDIA-managed and plan-managed supports the agreed price is no more than the NDIS price limit for where the support is delivered.
- Quantities are estimates for planning. The participant is only charged for supports actually delivered, and for extra charges written into the service agreement.
- Short notice cancellations: the notice period for each support is in the table (7 days or 2 clear business days). A cancellation can only be charged if the service agreement allows it.
- Either party can ask to change this schedule. Changes are agreed in writing and signed by both parties.

What goes in a schedule of supports
A schedule of supports turns the service agreement into numbers. For each support the participant will get, it says what it is, how much it costs, how much of it and how often, and what it comes to over the agreement. This builder covers each part:
- The parties and dates. The participant and their NDIS number, the provider, and the agreement period. The period sets the weeks and months that every quantity is multiplied by.
- Each support. The item number and name from the Support Catalogue, the unit (hour, each, day), the price limit and the agreed price.
- Quantity and frequency. Each week, fortnight or month, or a total for the whole agreement, with a note such as the days and times.
- Funding. NDIA-managed, plan-managed or self-managed, for the whole schedule or support by support.
- Notice periods and extra charges. The short notice cancellation period for each support, and the extra charges the catalogue allows, such as provider travel and non-face-to-face work.
- Totals by budget. Core, Capacity Building and Capital subtotals, compared with the plan budget if you enter it.
Day and time bands
Most hourly supports have a separate item for weekday daytime, evening and night, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. The bands are set in Part 4 of the Pricing Schedule. If a single worker’s support crosses from one band into another, the higher price applies to the whole support. To price a single shift, use the NDIS Shift Price Calculator.
Extra charges have to be agreed
Provider travel, non-face-to-face work, NDIA requested reports and short notice cancellations can only be charged when the service agreement allows them. The builder lists which of your supports allow each one. Our free NDIS Service Agreement Template has a tick box for each, and this schedule fits it as Attachment A.
Keep it current
Price limits change when the NDIA publishes a new Pricing Schedule. When they do, open your saved link, check the prices and print a new schedule for both parties to sign. To see how long a budget will last at the agreed spend, use the NDIS Plan Budget Calculator. Rostery builds each participant’s schedule into their funding, so shifts and invoices are checked against what was agreed.

Questions people ask
What is an NDIS schedule of supports?
It is the part of a service agreement that lists the supports a provider will deliver: each support item, its price, how much and how often, and the estimated total. The NDIA’s own service agreement template puts it in Attachment A.
How is a schedule of supports calculated?
Each line is the agreed price × the hours or units × how many times it happens in the agreement. A 12-month agreement is about 52 weeks, 26 fortnights or 12 months. For example, 10 hours a week of weekday self-care at $73.58 for 52 weeks is $38,259.60. Weekend, evening and public holiday hours are separate lines at their own price. A support that only runs part of the agreement, such as a 10 week therapy block, uses its own number of weeks. The lines are then added up for each budget.
How do I fit the supports to the plan budget?
Enter the budget for the agreement period. The tool divides it by the weeks in the agreement to show what can be spent each week, next to what the schedule spends each week. “Fit to budget” scales the weekly, fortnightly and monthly supports in that budget together so they use the budget without going over. One-off supports stay as they are.
Is this schedule of supports template free? Is my data stored?
It is free with no sign-up. Nothing you type is sent to us or stored. Your inputs are kept in the page address, so “Copy link” lets you come back to the schedule or send it to a colleague. The logo is never put in the link.
Which prices does it use?
The NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27, which applies from 24 September 2026, and the Support Catalogue v1.1. Pick national, remote (MMM 6) or very remote (MMM 7) and every price limit changes to match.
Can the agreed price be higher than the price limit?
Not for NDIA-managed or plan-managed supports: the price limit is the most that can be charged. Self-managed participants can agree other prices. The builder flags any price above its limit, and you can set the funding for each support separately.
How are evenings, weekends and public holidays priced?
Each day and time band has its own item number and price limit. The weekly pattern lets you enter hours for weekday daytime, evening and night, Saturday and Sunday, plus sleepovers, and adds a line for each. Public holiday hours are multiplied by the NDIS public holidays in the agreement period for your state.
How do I price a shared or group support?
Choose how many people share the support. The NDIS Pricing Schedule says the amount claimed from each participant is the price limit divided by the number of people in the group, so the builder divides the limit for you.
Does the schedule of supports have to be signed or sent to the NDIA?
The NDIA is not a party to service agreements and does not need a copy. Signing the schedule with the agreement is good practice because it records what both of you agreed. The document has signature lines you can switch off.
Can I edit the schedule in Word or Excel?
“Copy for Word” pastes a formatted table into Word or Google Docs. The Excel download keeps the agreed prices and quantities as inputs, with the totals and budget subtotals as live formulas, so the numbers update when you change them.
