NDIS Support Coordination Software
- Case notes become the claim
- Coordinator app
- NDIA results matched to each batch
- Add-on from $249 a month
What it does
A caseload that tells you who needs you today
A coordinator with forty participants cannot hold it all in their head. Every part of the module is built to surface the next thing that is due.
What support coordinators need from software
Support coordination is paid by the hour from the participant’s Capacity Building budget, so every minute of coordination has to be recorded, linked to the right item and claimed before the plan ends. The work itself happens in conversations, emails and meetings, which is why coordinators lose time when notes and timesheets live in different places.
| Support item | Item number | National | Remote | Very remote |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Support Coordination Level 1: Support Connection | 07_001_0106_8_3 | $80.06 | $112.08 | $120.09 |
| Support Coordination Level 2: Coordination of Supports | 07_002_0106_8_3 | $100.14 | $140.19 | $150.21 |
| Support Coordination Level 3: Specialist Support Coordination | 07_004_0132_8_3 | $190.54 | $266.75 | $285.80 |
| Psychosocial Recovery Coaching - Weekday Daytime | 07_101_0106_6_3 | $110.44 | $154.62 | $165.66 |
Prices are the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 limits per hour. Non-face-to-face work, provider travel, short-notice cancellations and NDIA requested reports can be claimed on the coordination items under the Pricing Arrangements. The Support Coordination Hours Calculator shows how far a coordination budget goes at each level.
From note to claim to payment
- Write the note in the web app or the coordinator app at the point of contact. It records the participant, service, budget and time.
- Notes become claim lines in a batch, which Rostery writes as the NDIA bulk upload file, checked line by line before it is written.
- Upload the file in the myplace provider portal. When the NDIA results come back, import them against the batch so paid, capped and rejected lines are matched.
- Rejected lines can be corrected and re-claimed in a correction file, or written off with a reason, and overdue invoices show on the claims overview.
Other options for support coordinators
Support coordination is offered in several NDIS products, from free tools to full platforms. These are the published terms, checked on each vendor’s site on 23 October 2026.
| Product | Support coordination offer | Published price |
|---|---|---|
| Rostery | Support coordination module and coordinator app, with rostering, pay and invoicing for the rest of the business | $249 a month add-on to a plan from $199 |
| Astalty | Astalty Lite, a free tool for support coordinators; coordination features in the main product | Lite $0; main product $64 per office user a month, incl. GST |
| Brevity | Support Coordinator App on every plan, plus a module and portal | From $4.49 per client a month on annual billing, 10-client minimum |
| ShiftCare | Support coordination solution page; its own comparison describes coordination as available but not the focus | From $9 per user a month |
A solo coordinator with a small caseload may only need a free tool. Rostery fits coordination teams that also deliver supports, manage plans or employ workers, because the caseload, the roster, pay and claiming share one record. See everything else Rostery does in NDIS software for providers.

Questions people ask
What is NDIS support coordination software?
Software that runs a support coordinator’s caseload: participant records, case notes, plan budgets, provider quotes and referrals, progress report due dates, and the claims for coordination time. The best tools make the case note the record the claim comes from, so time is not entered twice.
How do support coordinators bill in Rostery?
The case note is the billing unit. A note carries its date, duration, budget and service, and becomes the claimable line. Claims are batched into the NDIA bulk upload file, and the NDIA results file is imported against the batch so paid, capped and rejected lines are matched back.
What are the NDIS support coordination price limits for 2026-27?
Support Connection (Level 1) is $80.06 an hour, Coordination of Supports (Level 2) $100.14 and Specialist Support Coordination (Level 3) $190.54, nationally. Psychosocial recovery coaching on a weekday daytime is $110.44 an hour. Remote limits are 40% higher and very remote 50% higher.
Is there a support coordinator app?
Yes. Coordinators get their own login and their own app to see the day, their participants and their tasks, and to write notes at the point of contact.
How much does Rostery cost for support coordination?
Support coordination is an add-on to a Rostery plan at $249 a month, excluding GST. Plans start at $199 a month for up to 25 participants. There are no lock-in contracts.
